Course Description:

While the Academy Awards honor the best films, actors, and movie soundtracks and songs from the past year, it is the special moments that attract millions of viewers across the globe. And many of these moments involve surprise winners and losers—dark horses that beat the odds, or sure favorites that falter at the ceremony. Join us for a fun remembrance of winners, losers and moments that have defined the Oscars. Together, we'll also look at the nominees for this year's Academy Awards, debate the prospects for each, and make our predictions.
