[Past Event] Great Decisions Discussion Group

Course Description:

Global challenges have increasingly become domestic challenges. So, how do we make sense of it all? The World Affairs Council of Monterey Bay has teamed up with OLLI to explore the fundamental international questions facing us. In an informal setting and facilitated by a moderator, participants will discuss eight critical topics in the Foreign Policy Association’s 2020 Briefing Book. Group members will be encouraged to share their knowledge and views, but just listening is fine too.

Topics include: Climate Change and the Global Order; India and Pakistan; Red Sea Security; Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking; U.S. Relations with the Northern Triangle; China's Road into Latin America; The Philippines and the U.S.; Artificial Intelligence and Data.
