Course Description:

Alone among his musical contemporaries, Chopin has never suffered even a brief period of eclipse. Unlike Liszt, Berlioz, Mendelssohn, and Schumann, his music has enjoyed uninterrupted popularity from the time of his youth to the present––and this despite an originality that continues to astound listeners. Join classical pianist Melinda Coffey Armstead as she examines Chopin's life and music in livestream lecture-recitals supported by images and live performances.
