Course Description:

For many of us, our relationship with the outdoors may feel superficial, as if it is a place we're passing through our way elsewhere. What are we missing out on by disconnecting from our home and kin in this way? And how can we establish the connection we're missing? The best responses to these questions come from direct experience with the natural world.

In this course, you'll be guided to explore nature at a slower pace, developing your capacity to activate your senses and be present in each moment. Participants should be comfortable with extended periods of standing and slow-paced walking and prepared for an outdoor adventure in variable weather.
