Beneath the Blue: Mysteries of the Ocean Depths (Closed)

Course Description:

Despite growth in coastal populations around the world, the undersea environment continues to be a mystery to many. However, imagery collected by a variety of research platforms can rectify this troubling disconnect, especially when married to high-resolution topographic maps of the seafloor. In this talk, marine biologist James Lindholm explains how new techniques are providing data that will unlock these mysteries and help decision-makers manage the marine environment.
