California Wildfires: What We Now Know | Livestream Zoom + Recorded

Course Description:

The wildfire season is upon us in California. The previous two have been among the most devastating on record. What's the outlook for this one? What have we learned from the past that can help us in the future? Earth scientist Ken Verosub discusses how wildfires start and spread, how they are contained and controlled, what we know now that we didn't know two years ago, and how that new knowledge can be applied to reduce costs and save lives. He will also outline what to do to prepare for wildfires and how to protect your home, yourself and your loved ones.
