Course Description:

From "Wild" to "Eat Pray Love," spiritual journeys have recently popped up on our cultural radar. Yet people have been making treks to holy sites for millennia. These journeys no doubt represent the oldest form of tourism. Typically pilgrimages are taken in foreign lands. However, our own country is replete with hallowed locations long recognized by Native Americans as "adyta," meaning "sacred and fulfilling." Join Dr. Roger Luckenbach for a journey to these sacred locales where all can seek to nourish the soul.
