Course Description:

How can you see what you don't see? "You are all sleepwalkers, whether climbing creative peaks or slogging through some mundane routine for the thousandth time. You are all sleepwalkers,” states a disembodied alien in the award-winning, thought-provoking hard science fiction novel "Blindsight" by marine biologist Peter Watts. This offering will be a flabbergasting, multidimensional dive into many of instructor Arleen Tarantino’s favorite subjects: the nature of consciousness, artificial intelligence, alien biology, perception, myth, and modern physics. Beware: It might wake you up (wink).

Tuition: $45.00
