Course Description:Stanford University's Cantor Arts Center and Anderson Collection were both founded by private families passionately dedicated to building extraordinary collections. Join us as we look at highlights from both while considering the impetus and differing approaches each took in building and maintaining their respective collections as well as their enduring legacy. We'll also take a virtual grand tour of the outdoor public art that permeates the Stanford campus—further proof that exquisite treasures exist in our own backyard. |
