Course Description:

In this special two-part offering, Lila and Patrice invite you to explore the relationships between humankind and other animals. Through paintings and poetry, we’ll experience the sometimes playful, sometimes fearful, often indispensable, and frequently complex bonds between people and animals. From the tame to the wild—house cats to tigers—and from many points in history as well as from around the world, we’ll think about all the ways that we support and threaten each other and find inspiration in the presence of those who fly and those who crawl. Bring your inner tiger and prowl with us.
