Course Description:

Enjoy an opportunity to study the rare and fascinating owls of the Santa Lucia Preserve and learn about the natural history of other raptors as well. We'll learn about feathers, owl calls and pellets, and marvel at their habitat. (Note: involves some walking on an even, dirt path. Group will carpool from the Crossroads Shopping Center.)

Location

Course will be presented live at the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel and will NOT be recorded or available for viewing later. To keep everyone safe, seats are limited. Group will carpool from the Crossroads Shopping Center.

Kirsten Stember, environmental education outreach coordinator for the Santa Lucia Preserve, has more than 25 years of experience leading interpretive tours, promoting environmental stewardship and creating curriculum for schools and adult groups.
