Course Description:

There are many different types of memory systems that we use daily. As we age, some of these systems slow down or are challenged, while others are not affected. In this two-part course, we'll first focus on how memory changes over time, as well as some neurodegenerative disorders that affect memory and cognitive abilities. While there is no way to stop the aging process, there are techniques to slow down the challenges that arise for our memory. The second session focuses on how we can work to improve as it is never too late to enhance one's memory.
