[Past Event] Dr. Richard Bell Live! - Declaration of Independence | Ryan Ranch

Course Description:

The Declaration of Independence is a peculiar thing. It’s a literary masterpiece that was written jointly by a committee of fifty people. It’s short and punchy—just 1,310 words long—but still somehow daunting and difficult to get to grips with. And what is it exactly? Is it a birth certificate announcing happy news, a petition for divorce, or something else? What did people at the time make of it? Renowned historian Dr. Richard Bell pays a special visit to Ryan Ranch to uncover its fascinating origins, misunderstood purpose, and extraordinary global legacy. The talk will be followed by a reception featuring wine, small bites and dear friends.

With 70 members enrolled, we've exceeded capacity, and we thank you for your enthusiastic support of this offering.
